SECURITY & CONFIDENCE
Controls, visibility and response decisions need to work together around your business.
Identify the systems, people and requirements in scope.
Coordinate access, endpoint and information controls.
Agree who investigates, authorizes action and follows through.
MAKE THE NEXT DECISION CLEARER
Start with a defined question, an authorized scope and deliverables that can guide remediation.
Identify the systems, configuration or vulnerability-review activities included and the evidence available.
Record observations, limitations and recommendations with the responsible owners.
Remediation, validation and penetration testing require an explicit method, scope and authorization.
START WITH THE BUSINESS NEED
A long list of technical findings is difficult to act on when it lacks context. Teams need to know which systems were reviewed, what the evidence shows, how a weakness could affect the business, and which changes should come first.
Separate observed facts, gaps in available evidence, and recommendations so decisions are based on what was actually assessed.
Consider critical services, exposure, dependencies, and implementation effort when ordering remediation work.
Assign actions, decision-makers, and validation steps so the assessment becomes an improvement program.
WHAT WE CAN HELP WITH
Identify the systems, locations, information, and decisions the assessment should cover. Document exclusions, access permissions, and operational constraints.
Examine agreed account practices, administrative access, device configuration, cloud settings, and security controls using authorized evidence sources.
Plan appropriate scanning or evidence review within written boundaries. Validate significant findings where practical and distinguish automated observations from confirmed business impact.
Review selected backup evidence, incident contacts, decision authority, and operational procedures. Identify questions that require a restore exercise or a separately scoped technical test.
Present an executive explanation and actionable technical findings with owners, priorities, assumptions, and next steps. Define what evidence will demonstrate that an action is complete.
FROM DISCOVERY TO DELIVERY
Establish the purpose, assets, authorization, methods, evidence handling, and boundaries of the assessment.
Review approved systems and documentation, discuss findings with owners, and record limits and open questions.
Connect findings to business impact and agree a practical order of remediation and further investigation.
Recheck completed actions within the contracted follow-up scope and update the findings with evidence.
Before work begins, agree on the scope, responsible owners, acceptance criteria, and handover requirements. We’ll discuss the evidence and documentation relevant to your project during discovery.
TECHNOLOGY IN CONTEXT
Platform selection depends on your existing environment, licensing, device and application compatibility, and the agreed scope.

No. An assessment may review controls, configurations, evidence, and vulnerabilities. A penetration test uses a specifically authorized test scope and methods to examine exploitable paths. If that work is needed, its objectives, specialists, permissions, and boundaries must be agreed separately.
Document the systems involved and choose methods and timing appropriate to their sensitivity. Some tests create load or operational risk, so intrusive activity requires explicit authorization and coordination. A nonintrusive review can also have limits that should be stated in the findings.
The agreed deliverables should explain the business context, scope, material findings, priorities, and decisions required. Technical owners need enough detail to act, while leadership needs a clear view of exposure, dependencies, and the proposed improvement path.
Those activities should be defined in the proposal. An assessment can stand alone, or it can include agreed remediation planning and follow-up validation. Major implementation work may need a separate project scope and acceptance criteria.
Choose a cadence based on business needs, material changes, contractual requirements, and the risks being reviewed. A new location, migration, acquisition, or incident may justify a focused review between broader assessments.
